Yarn Bases and Recommended Care

Fuse Merino Singles, 100% Superwash Merino Wool
Single-Ply, 400 yards / 100 grams
This single-ply merino yarn has a beautiful shine and silky feel. Dyes appear especially vibrant on this yarn base.  It is perfect for shawls and lightweight sweaters, and it drapes gorgeously after blocking.

Fuse Luxury Fingering, 80% Superwash Merino Wool, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon
4-Ply, 435 yards / 100 grams
This is our most luxurious sock weight base. But, it’s not just for socks! With the addition of cashmere to the already baby soft merino, this yarn looks and feels like a cloud. You’ll enjoy knitting with it as much as you love wearing it. This is the yarn you buy when you need to “treat yo’ self!

Fuse Fingering, 100% Superwash Merino Wool, 2-Ply, 400 yards / 100 grams  This is the perfect all-purpose fingering yarn. The 2-ply twist construction helps with the wear and tear on your socks, while the 100% merino content keeps your shawls and sweaters super soft. It is plump and squishy and feels luxurious.

Fuse Sock, 75% Superwash Merino Wool, 25% Nylon
4-Ply,463 yards /100 grams
Fuse Sock is a round, plump 4-ply yarn base that is so soft and springy you won’t want to hide it in your shoes!  Great for socks, or any pattern that calls for fingering weight yarn.

Recommended Care:

All of my yarn is hand-dyed in small batches with wash-fast and light-fast dyes in a professional dye studio. Although some colors can be repeated, each skein is unique.  I recommend alternating skeins if you are using more than one skein of the same color.

Although some of my yarns contain superwash wool, which means they can be machine washed, I always recommend hand washing your hand knit items. As with all hand-dyed yarn, a very small amount of bleeding may occur with the first few washes -- especially with dark blues or hot pink colors.
